Alfaisal University was founded in 2002 by the King Faisal Foundation as a private, non-profit research institution. Its College of Medicine is internationally recognized and utilizes a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) curriculum with clinical training at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC). The university holds institutional accreditation from NCAAA and program accreditations from AACSB (Business), ABET (Engineering), and SCFHS (Health Sciences).
