Acceptance Requirements

  • The applicant must be a Saudi national, or have a Saudi mother, or be a mother of Saudi children.
  • Must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, provided that the foreign certificate is equated by the Ministry of Education.
  • The high school diploma must not be older than two years (the current year and the previous one) for applicants to the College of Medicine, and not older than five years for the rest of the bachelor's degree programs.
  • Must have a valid score in the National Center for Assessment tests (General Aptitude and Academic Achievement) according to the admission standard requirements.
  • Must be medically fit and able to complete the requirements of the academic program.
  • For admission to the Health Colleges (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz for Emergency Medical Services, Applied Medical Sciences, and Nursing), the applicant must not have any disability.
  • For the admission of a student who withdrew, was dismissed, or interrupted their studies from the university, four academic semesters (or two academic years for annual system students) must have passed, starting from the semester or academic year following the academic action.
  • Must not have been dismissed from King Saud University or any other university or academic institution for disciplinary or academic reasons.
  • Must not be currently enrolled as a regular student in another university inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Must not have previously obtained a bachelor's degree.

Academically Distinguished Medicine & Surgery Track

  • Admission: A minimum weighted ratio of 95% is required to apply.
  • Continuity: A cumulative GPA of at least (4.5 out of 5) in the First Common Year courses is required to remain in the program.
